Monash Pony Club caters for young people and adults aged 8 and over who enjoy the benefits of being part of a community where old and young share their passion for horses and riding. Monash Pony Club aims to develop and enhance the relationship between horse and rider in a safe and secure environment, with plenty of fun and social interaction. Monthly rallies are held on the first Sunday of the month where riders are instructed in the care of their horse as well as the finer points of dressage, show jumping, eventing and games.

Congratulations to our fantastic musical team who competed at the Zone competition on Sunday 27 April 2014 at Dingley Pony Club and won the 1st place rosettes and the Perpetual Trophy for Monash Pony Club. The team then went on to the State Finals at Bacchus Marsh on 14 June 2014 and won the third place ribbons. The team consisted of Sarah Abotomey on Boots, Emily Langdon on Royce, Katie Lee on Shea and Olimpia Santamaria on Lolly. This success was as a result of the expert leadership and superior musical selections provided by our DC and Team Leader – Amy Dewar, the choreography worked out by Amy and the team and the amazing costumes for the theme “putting on the ritz” developed by Sarah with assistance from her mother Rhonda.
